New Features and Other Improvements

Extra Fields column on Internal Data Transfer (IDT) status template

Feature ID: FD-10409

There is a new Extra Fields column in the Internal Data Transfer (IDT) status template located after the Document Series column. On the new Extra Fields column, you can see all the extra fields that you selected before running the IDT.

New definition column: Internal Account

Feature ID: FD-9028

You can now use a new definition column for accounts on input and report templates that shows whether the account type is internal or external. Add the column in Template Management by setting value isinternal for attribute presentationproperty under the dimensioninfo element. The isinternal value defines an account as internal if the Internal selection is checked for that account in Other options of the Account Management view. If the Internal selection is not checked in Account Management, the account is defined as external on the definition column. This feature applies to both Desktop and Web Client.Note! Dimensiontype value must be account for presentationproperty [isinternal] setting.

Web Client: Input cells disregard decimal and thousand separator settings on Eliminations of Equity Investments (60 000) template

When you input values on the Eliminations of Equity Investments (60 000) template now, the values are aligned on the right side of the cell and saved correctly with a thousand separator.

Decimals are lost when copying numbers from an Excel file to Clausion

You can now copy and paste numbers with decimal values from Excel to Clausion without losing the decimal values during the procedure.

When you copy and paste values from an Excel sheet to an input template in Web Client, the decimals are saved following the cell format in the Excel sheet, i.e., what you see on the Excel cell. This is an Excel feature.

However, in Clausion Web Client, when you copy and paste values from one cell in an input template to another cell in the input template, the decimals of the copied values are saved regardless of the formatting in the target cell. For example, if you copy a number with two decimals, like “10.12”, and paste it to a cell whose formatting includes only one decimal, the full value is saved to the cell even though the target cell displays only one decimal, “10.1” in this example. This means that if you further copy that target value (the displayed “10.1”) and paste it again to a cell with two decimals in the formatting, the full value has remained and is displayed as such again (“10.12”).
