New Features and Other Improvements

New period type: Drilling down to a Quarter period on a report

Feature ID: FD-11937

You can drill down to a new Quarter period (See also section ‘New period type for report sheet: Quarter period’ in these release notes) in a report column and view the Normal periods and their values linked to that Quarter period in the Comments column of the drilldown sheet. Expand the Comments column horizontally or vertically to see the period data in it.In periodical reports, you see only the Normal periods and their values that are linked to that specific Quarter period. In cumulative reports, you see the Normal periods and their values that are linked to that Quarter period and also the Normal periods and their values linked to the previous Quarter periods if there are any.

Web Client: Enter, save and upload internal transition items for multiple unit or counter unit combinations

Feature ID: FD-11242

You can now to input and import data not only for the default selected unit but also for other units in task type “Inputsheet20000”. Previously, you could only input and import data for the unit that was selected.

Web Client: undoing cell value deletion with Ctrl+Z keyboard shortcut

Feature ID: FD-11137

You can now perform the undo action on a single or multiple cells with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Z after you have deleted values from one or more cells. An exception to this are locked and definition cells, their content remains unaffected even if you try to perform the undo action on them.

Internal Data Transfer (IDT): 8000 character length for data type extra fields

Feature ID: FD-10408

You can now execute Internal Data Transfer (IDT) successfully with the maximum character length of 8000 characters for the data type extra fields with text field type. Previously, the maximum character length was 4000 characters.

New period type for report template: Quarter period

Feature ID: FD-10391

You can now add Quarter periods to report templates. Adding a Quarter period is similar to adding any other period type: go to the Periods view in Environment Management, click Add and select Quarter period as the period type from the drop-down selection. When you have added a Quarter period, you can link Normal periods to the Quarter period by selecting the Normal period and on the new Quarter period drop-down selection, selecting a Quarter period for it. The values from linked Normal periods on an input template are reflected on the Quarter period columns on a report template. After you have added Quarter periods and linked Normal periods to them, save the input template values or run Input Data Calculations (IDC). The values added or modified in the Normal periods on the input template are reflected to the Quarter period columns on periodical and cumulative report templates.Quarter periods are available only for input and report templates. Normal period is the only type of a period you can link to a Quarter period. When it comes to other periods, the Quarter period selection remains disabled. There is no maximum limit on how many Normal periods you can link to a Quarter period, however, the usual amount is naturally three Normal periods when each Normal period represents one month. Please note that we recommend you to create the Quarter periods after the Normal or Extra periods in the Periods view so Quarter periods appear after those periods on the report template. In addition, whenever you update the linking of Normal periods to Quarter periods in the Periods view, you must rerun the IDC or save the values in input sheet to view the latest calculated data for the Quarter periods in the report template.Note! Quarter periods are currently unavailable in the Basic Options' definitions of input and report templates.

Corrected Known Issues

Issue

Resolution

FD-12526

Web Client: Saving of data on Web Client fails if counter unit is invalid

You can now copy data from external sources into Clausion’s input sheet and invalid data for, i.e., counter unit, unit or account appears blank. When you save the input sheet, you get validation message for the blank spaces where valid data is required. You can save valid data without any issues.

FD-12516

Web Client: Input template import failure

You can now import and save input templates without a failure.

FD-12109

Desktop Client: Parameters not saving when pressing 'Enter' after input

You can now save parameters like %GLOBAL PERIOD%, %GLOBAL YEAR%, and %INTEGRATION PERIOD% to the database without any issues. Pressing the Enter key does not produce extra spaces in the parameter names anymore and, therefore, the parameters are saved correctly to the database.
