New Features and Other Improvements

Internal integration for data export between Clausion and target systems, such as other insightsoftware products

Feature ID: FD-18758

Internal integration for data export has been implemented between Clausion and target systems, such as other insightsoftware products. You can utilize this integration in various processes, including disclose management and ESG reporting. For example, you can use Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) to effortlessly disclose data consolidated with Clausion or easily and quickly export ESG data from Clausion to CDM.Guidelines are available for the data export between the products, detailing considerations for the applications involved in the data export, such as the requirement for the target system to be able to call SQL procedures. Additionally, the procedure can be used for data retrieval in any standard data export integration where data retrieval from reporting levels is needed.

Web Client: XBRL reports open more quickly

Feature ID: FD-18440

The force refresh has been removed when opening XBRL reports, leading to performance improvements when the Data Method is Retrieve. This means that XBRL reports now open more quickly.

Account Name added to the Drilldown Sheet path

Feature ID: FD-18053

You can now see the Account Name after the Account Code on the drilldown sheet path, making it easy to check which account you are working with and drilling down to. The change has been applied by adding the Account name to the %DRILLDOWN PATH% custom definition. This feature applies to both the Web Client and Desktop Client.

Including Measurement system information in unit export and import processes

Feature ID: FD-17706

Unit export and import processes have been updated to include information on the measurement system used to cater ESG-reporting. When you export units in Unit Management, the exported XML or CSV files include information on the measurement system. When you import unit hierarchies from CSV or XML files, the process takes into account any changes to the measurement system selections. The measurement system can be defined either as the International system of units, SI (the metric system), which is represented as value 0 (zero) in a CSV or XML file, or United States customary units (US) which is represented as value 1 (one) in a CSV or XML file.

Web Client: Input of data type extra field values via a pop-up window

Feature ID: FD-11916

In the Web Client, there is now a pop-up window for selecting data type extra field values. The same functionality has been available in the Desktop Client before. The pop-up window allows easy and quick selection of extra field values according to the input template specifications. The pop-up window opens when you double-click an extra field cell on the input template. Select the desired value for the extra field from the list displayed in the pop-up window. You can also search for values using the dynamic search function. In the dynamic search, results appear as you start typing the search term in the search field. Once you have selected a value, click OK, and the value appears in the extra field. The pop-up window also opens if you enter an invalid value manually in the extra field and press the Enter key.You can define the selectable extra field values in the Desktop Client in the template management by setting the type value of the datafield element to extra and the type value of the selector element to the desired value from the drop-down menu.
