New Features and Other Improvements
Parameter to show UI task name in the template
Feature ID: FD-101
A new parameter %TASK NAME% for showing the UI task name for template has been added to the parameter list. When the parameter is given, for example, in a cell in the template spreadsheet file, the name of the UI task used is shown in the cell when the template is opened. In Clausion FPM Desktop Client, if set in screenname element under User Interface task settings, the name of the task is displayed in the template screen header as in the earlier Clausion FPM versions. In Clausion FPM Web Client, the screenname element has no effect.
Data column copy from area to another
Feature ID: FD-66
Copying of a data column from one area to another in template management is especially useful in situations where there are several areas that have different generate definitions but same columns.
Clausion ESEF Reporting Tool: Block tagging of notes
Feature ID: FD-17
New version 22.09 of Clausion ESEF Reporting Tool is available and it can be taken into use also with an older version of Clausion FPM. It is not necessary to update the entire system to be able to take new features of Clausion ESEF Reporting Tool into use. The eldest Clausion FPM version compatible with the new version of Clausion ESEF Reporting Tool is version 20.1.1. Starting from version 22.10 Clausion ESEF Reporting Tool is included in the Clausion DR installation package.
It is allowed to tag the Notes by regions, i.e. not as single numbers as tags in the primary financial statements. Elements of this kind are of type ”TextBlock”.
Areas selected to be tagged with Clausion ESEF Reporting Tool must consist of entire rows in the Excel sheet. On the Mapping sheet the formulas in the Fact column can be referenced to the cell area (for example, 'Notes to Income exc. taxes'!4:12) or by giving a name to each area to be tagged (for example, BlockTag_DisaggregationOfRevenue) with the Name Manager function in Excel. The latter option is quite reasonable because then the areas can be named without moving back and forth between the Mapping and reporting sheets. So, definition of the tags can well be started and tagging the content to the columns in the content sheets, which will be hidden from the end result. Distribution of turnover notes as an example below.
On the Mapping sheet, formula references are created to the Fact column, which refer to the selected areas. Useful functions are ISREF (Finnish: ONVIITT) and CONCAT (Finnish: YHDISTÄ). In both functions the area can be referred to as the area name or cell references. Remember though, that the references must consist of entire rows.
Additionally, elements used in the tags must be defined on the Extension sheet in the same way as other types of elements in the source taxonomy. In the same way, it possible to create own textblock-type extension elements, but this is not mandatory according to ESMA rules. The only thing that is mandatory is to create the tags for the elements that have been listed as mandatory in the taxonomy, in case these disclosures are presented in the report.
Additional notes to remember with formattings in the Excel workbook:
- When listing the elements used in the taggings to the data sheets you may wish to indicate rows which are covered by the element in question with a left/right border of the hidden column. It is not advisable to do that, though, because the vertical border line will then be visible in the end result xHTML file, although the column in Excel is hidden.
- Table headers of which text continues in Excel on top of the next empty cell: in the html table the text continues according to the cell width on several rows and the cell height increases. In this case the tool, compared to the previous version, cannot anymore merge the cells horizontally automatically. To keep the layout corresponding to the Excel sheet, merge the cells in Excel horizontally wide enough.
- If the cell height in the table is not sufficient for the text to show, when generating the html file, the cell height increases automatically enough as before. If there is an image after the cells, the image position is not moved in a necessary way downwards, but the image shows on top of the text in a browser. This can be avoided by adding row height in Excel so much that the text will be totally shown.
Corrected Known Issues
Issue ID | Issue | Resolution |
---|---|---|
FD-6101 |
Clausion FPM Web Client: Copy/paste is not working for Input template from one cell to another, only empty value is returned |
The issue has now been fixed. Copy/Paste is working fine. The empty value is not returning when the user copies and pastes in the same template with CTRL + C and CTRL + V and with right-click. |
FD-5724 |
XBRL: Default members in entry point HTAS (Hyvinvointialueen talousarvio) reporting in XBRL format |
Context IDs relating to columns of Table hh-t06 now correctly exclude default members of the dimension in the XBRL instance document saved from FPM. Note however, that the dimension fi_dim:HPAL members are missing from the context-IDs and thus the instance is not valid for reporting to State Treasury. |
FD-1646 |
Clausion FPM Web Client: Column grouping outline symbols not functional in a template which has columnwidth = 0 in XML |
Previously in Clausion FPM Web Client when clicking the column grouping outline symbols in a template, where the columnwidth = 0 in XML, nothing happened. The issue has now been fixed. When the user clicks on 1,2,3 outline symbols, the column is expanded or collapsed. |
