Data is entered and saved to the Clausion FPM system database using input templates and can be retrieved using reports. Reports are created directly from the system database, which means that they are based on the data in the database at the time of reporting.
Templates are spreadsheet type workbooks that can include one or more tabs. There are different templates for different purposes, and the templates are default templates of Clausion FPM or content Package (Clausion FAS / Clausion IFRS / Clausion Public Sector Package) or customer-specific. This user guidance includes general instructions for using Clausion FPM default templates. If you use a Clausion IFRS, Clausion FAS, or Clausion Public Sector Package, you can find information and instructions for using the Clausion FPM Package default templates in the Clausion FAS, Clausion IFRS or Clausion Public Sector Package User's Guides. Note, however, that your administrative user may have made customer-specific changes to the default templates.
Reporting tasks, each of which refers to one template available in the system, are listed in the navigation of the application main window. Your user rights determine which templates are available to you.
Data is retrieved to the report template based on the options you select, as well as the report settings defined in the report XML definitions file. For example, if you select year 2006, and the XML definitions file setting define that data is retrieved from selected year + 2, the data will be retrieved to the report from year 2008 (based on the hierarchy level selected for year 2006).
Note that if the report contains columns for dimension units or data types for which you do not have a least "read" rights, no data will be shown in these columns.
