Managing Screen Reservations

Location: Reservations (task ID: ReservationMnt)

It is recommended that only one user at a time edits the data in the management views. Currently, the system does not allow simultaneous editing in the Units and Accounts views.

Opening of the same input template at the same time by several users can be restricted with the InputReservationManagement environment parameter. The administrator can set the parameter value to 'true' or 'false'. By default, the parameter value is set to 'false'.

If the parameter value is set to 'false', no warnings appear when the same template is opened by different users or different templates are opened with the same selections by different users. Also, users can save the changes.

If the parameter value is set to 'true', screen reservations are in use and warnings open when the same templates are opened by different users or different templates are opened with the same selections. Also reservation entries appear in Reservations management view, which the administrator can delete manually. Also closing of the template deletes the reservation.

Deleting the reservations manually

The administrative user can delete the reservations from users so that other users can edit the data.

The reservations are listed in the Reservations view and if necessary, can be deleted.

1.To delete a reservation, select the check box at the beginning of the reservation row.

2.On the toolbar, click delete Delete.
